Jini Bates, owner of Bloomin', is a fourth generation
Colorado gardener. Born and raised in the Denver Metropolitan
area, she has seen all of the vagaries of our Front Range
weather. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at
Boulder with a degree in mathematics and has raised two daughters.
She became interested in landscape design after installing
several landscapes, understanding the need for a complete
plan. She developed her skills in the field by studying, experimenting
and applying various techniques and design approaches that
are unique in the industry.
Jini has created landscape designs along the Front Range
since 1988. She worked from 1988-2002 as production manager
for a major wholesale nursery. She served on the board of
Xeriscape
Colorado! for 4 years. She is a member of Associated
Landscape Contractors of Colorado.
Weekends find her in her own garden tending to a wide variety
of plants. In 2003 she became a Master Gardener for Broomfield
County.

- Detailed plans for the entire landscape that may
be put out to bid from contractors. Also includes
computer images of the proposals. (Contractors include
landscape, deck building, fencing, water features,
pool, concrete, sprinkler, and brick among others.)
- Low-costs plans for Do-It-Yourselfers.
- Project management to ensure that the plan gets
completed as the owner envisions.
